What is the light of Christ that we ought to walk in?
We ought to walk in the light of Christ, which is
1. His holiness & righteousness v.1
2. His commandment or word which He taught to us v.3
3. His love towards all of us v.5
To do*:
How can we assure ourselves of being in Christ?
Let’s
1. Keep ourselves from sin through Jesus’ blood vv.1-2
2. Keep His commandments vv.3-5a
3. Abide in Christ’s word so that the love of God perfected in us v.5 4. Walk just as Christ walked in the light v.6
5. Love one another & shun hatred vv.9-11
